The benchmark index of Amman Stock Exchange declined by 0.52% and closed the session in the red at 2116.10 points, hurt by the decline of all sectors.

Total of 11.2 million shares were traded through 4,530 transactions at a turnover of JOD 10.8 million.

Out of 127 companies participated in trading, 33 rose, 60 declined and the remaining ones kept flat.

As for sectors, they all declined in Tuesday’s session. The industrial index plunged by 0.76%, the financial index shed 0.57% and the services index decreased by 0.05%.

The top three gainers were, the International Cards Company by 6.45%, Middle East Specialized Cables Company/mesc_jordan Plc by 5.56% and Arab Center For Pharm.& Chemicals by 4.72%.

The top three losers were, Ibn Alhaytham Hospital Company by 6.92%, First National Vegetable Oil Industries Co. by 5.56% and Al-rakaez Investment Co. by 5.00%.

It should be noted that in yesterday’s session, the benchmark index rose by 0.49% trading in a green territory and closed at 2127.13 points.
